We are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to work within our flagship Esher office reporting directly to the Office Manager to support the administration team by assisting them in all areas, including reception, client services and document organisation.

We are a top 15 accountancy firm specialising within the owner managed business area across the UK. A well-established firm since the 1930's with an entrepreneurial and dynamic feel who are continuing to grow nationally as well as regionally.

The Administrative Assistant role is offering a highly competitive salary.

The Administrative Assistant duties will be:

  • All administration tasks, including letters, photocopying, scanning, manual updates, document binding, other daily filing and paperwork
  • Binding of accounts to be sent to clients
  • Greeting clients and visitors
  • Typing of letters to clients
  • Ensuring tea/coffee/soft drinks are fully stocked
  • Checking stocks of stationery supplies for the office and reporting to Office Manager what is required
  • Delivering reliable administrative support
  • Answering the phones and transferring as appropriate
  • Receiving deliverables, organising post and booking couriers
  • Booking meeting rooms for clients or internal meetings
  • Providing refreshments during meetings


  • Previous experience of working as a receptionist
  • Experience of customer service would be advantageous

The Administrative Assistant will have the below skills:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in talking to people at all levels of seniority
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS Word and Excel
  • Previous experience of Iris an advantage but not essential
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
