Job Description

Due to growth we are recruiting for an Administration Assistant to work within our Swindon office by assisting the administration function in all areas including reception, client service and document management.

We are a top 15 accountancy firm established in the 1930's with an entrepreneurial and dynamic feel who have a growing strategy nationally and regionally.

The Administration Assistant role is offering a competitive salary, on the job training and flexible renumeration/benefits package. The Administration Assistant duties will be:

  • All administration tasks including generation of letters, photocopying, scanning, training manual updates, document binding and other daily filing
  • Ordering and maintaining office equipment and supplies ensuring continuity
  • Provide essential administrative support to all office staff regardless of seniority
  • Providing day to day IT support, liaising with offsite IT support teams when required
  • Maintain both digital and hard copy files and databases
  • Answering the phone and transferring/taking calls
  • Perform reception duties such as welcoming clients and supporting client meetings
  • Organising lunches and refreshments for meetings and/or events
  • Maintain client facing areas
  • Managing the inbound and outbound postal service
  • Assisting with the new client take on process
  • Assisting the manager with any other duties when required

The Administration Assistant will have the following skills:

Excellent social and communication skills

Confidence in talking to people at all levels of seniority

Strong IT skills, particularly MS Word and Excel

Flexibility and ability to multi-task and manage small projects independently

Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills

Attention to detail

Personal Qualities:
