Due to growth within our Newcastle office, we are recruiting for an Audit Senior to assist with the execution of audit fieldwork and audit file completion.

We are looking for highly skilled individuals to join the team to assist us in achieving our strategic goal of being the one advisor to owner managed businesses in the region. The role will involve providing an excellent service to our diverse range of clients and supporting the development of trainees.

A well as being technically brilliant, the right individual will have a natural enthusiasm for all things audit, display commercial awareness, and enjoy working as part of an ambitious and results-focused team.

The Audit Senior duties will be:

  • Plan Audit assignments, including budgeting and use of analytical review
  • Identify key audit risks and tailor the audit approach to the client
  • Lead the team on site during the audit, supporting the development of trainees
  • Deliver information to client in timely manner
  • Display in depth client and industry knowledge
  • Develop relationships with clients
  • Communicate to management progress on workload and plan for efficient completion
  • Proactive involvement within the team
  • Identify cross selling opportunities
  • Opportunity to liaise with other departments and be involved in office wide activities

Job Requirements
