What is the role?

As a recent school/college leaver working as an Bookkeeping and Accounts Trainee role in our London office, you will be assisting the partners and associate partners in the management and delivery of bookkeeping and accounts preparation services for our Owner Managed Business Client portfolio with the below key tasks being carried out.

  • Prepare income and expense analysis using the firm's cloud bookkeeping software;
  • Use this data to prepare quarterly VAT returns;
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts;
  • Liaise with clients to complete filings and to answer any queries;
  • Reconcile purchase, sales and general ledger entries;
  • Prepare accounting schedules such as fixed asset registers;
  • Make postings using the firm's accounting and working papers software;
  • Prepare returns and other documents for filing with Companies House or HM Revenue and Customs as instructed;

As well as the above you will be a school/college leaver with a minimum of 112 UCAS points attained or GCSE Level 5 or above in English Language and Maths.
