Want to work for a leading accountancy firm, with opportunities for career development and progression, look no further. Haines Watts are recruiting a Cloud Services Advisor to support our growing Cloud Services department.

This newly created role, based in Hereford but servicing the West Midlands region offers an opportunity to apply cloud and business system architecture to our clients, to realise the advantages and efficiency gains of operating integrated cloud systems and apps.

Reporting to our Cloud Services Manager, this role offers the opportunity to acquire technical knowledge and skills which will help shape your future career.

Key responsibilities include

  • Cloud system advice to current and potential client base.
  • Applying technical accountancy knowledge to cloud based systems and the ability to tailor client requirements in a proactive way to system requirements.
  • Cloud App advice to current and potential client base.
  • Supporting client with ongoing cloud based queries and resolutions.
  • Identify efficiency gains and technology advances for current and potential client base.
  • Support the Cloud Services Manager with system implementation and client proposals.
  • Ongoing awareness and technical awareness of the cloud app marketplace.

Key skills include

  • Extensive working and system implementation knowledge of Xero.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Apps marketplace.
  • Minimum of 2 years accounting experience is essential.
  • Working knowledge of Quickbooks, Free Agent and Sage Line 50c.
  • Knowledge of computerised packages, specifically accountancy and cloud based systems.
  • Be personable, proactive and willing to learn new skills and have a very inquisitive nature.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to propose change to client working practices.
  • Ability to problem solve within tight deadlines.

Hours of work and salary

  • 9:00am - 5:30pm with an hour for lunch.
  • Salary will depend entirely on experience but will be competitive.
