Corporate Tax Assistant

The successful candidate will be working closely with the tax team and mangers across our 3 offices. It is essential that candidates can work effectively as part of a team, in a client-facing role.

This an opportunity for an organised and focused individual to flourish by gaining well-rounded corporate tax compliance exposure.

A wide range of benefits would be available to the successful individual to include a highly competitive remuneration package, pension and flexible working hours.

The work will include preparation of corporation tax and capital allowances computations for a variety of clients.

Duties include:

  • Building relationships and interacting with colleagues to provide excellent client service
  • Ensuring that all internal and client based, and legislative deadlines are met
  • You would be expected to contribute to tax advisory projects
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Monitoring your chargeability and assignment budgets proactively
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that the firm's standard processes are used in the production of compliance tax work and ensuring that technical standards are maintained
  • Various ad-hoc work as it arises

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in corporate tax, in an accountancy firm is a must
  • ATT qualified or qualified by experience
  • Is comfortable interacting with colleagues, clients, potential clients and connectors on all levels with the ability to change your communication style to suit to occasion


ATT qualified or qualified by experience. Study support may be provided for a candidate wishing to complete ATT
