Marketing Executive

An exciting opportunity for a results focused marketing professional to work with an award-winning, Haines Watts.

As a Marketing Executive, your new role will play an imperative part in the company's success by focusing on growing the business through delivery of campaigns across key channels and improving user experience. Reporting directly to the Client Services Manager, you will be an integral part of the team based in Edinburgh and supporting our Fife and Stirling offices, as well as forming a regional collaboration with the Marketing team covering ten offices in the north of England.

We are looking for someone with drive, determination and willingness to get stuck into their role, to help grow the business and professionally develop. You will be responsible for running marketing campaigns across channels including our website, email, social media, print and CRM.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a Marketing Plan each month to schedule content updates, campaigns and monitor events.
  • Collaborate with our Regional Marketing Team in the north of England, with occasional travel to Newcastle.
  • Work with the team to create new web content designed to build customer engagement.
  • Creating, proofreading and editing copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent tone of voice.
  • Running social media channels and enhancing engagement with our target audience.
  • Supporting the Business Development team to develop their online presence and visibility as experts in their field and ensuring a coordinated approach to social media across our teams.
  • Creating and maintaining marketing assets including flyers, newsletter, case studies, infographics, factsheets, brochure, proposals and presentations.
  • Utilise CRM system to identify marketing opportunities and create email campaigns.
  • Manage Key Account Management processes and assist in lead generation and tracking through the CRM.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports to track results, KPIs and latest digital trends relevant to the business.
  • Review competitor activity and recommend new initiatives that could improve online activity.
  • Create and maintain an event calendar and invitations.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and willing to learn, with strong organisations skills and 2+ years experience in a similar role (B2B/professional services preferred). A flexible / part-time role may be considered and there is potential to pursue a CIM qualification.

Areas of knowledge that would be beneficial include: digital marketing; social media platforms; email marketing systems; and CRM systems.

Proficiency in MS Office is essential to the role and any experience in the following would be favourable: InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, Hootsuite, Campaign Monitor, WordPress and CRM systems.
