Operations Admin Office Manager

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Admin Office Manager to join their rapidly growing business to support business across all areas to ensure processes and procedures are ran effectively and efficiently whilst making continual improvements for the business administration and people management, reporting to the Senior Management team.

Our client is a privately owned company that was established in the early 1990's, who are one of London's largest ELV and nuisance vehicle contractor; offering a variety of services working very closely with local authorities.

The Operations Admin Office Manager role would suit someone who is hands on with and used to working within industrial recycling type industry who enjoys being able to have oversight of the operations of the business whilst looking at areas of improvement; leading from the front and managing the administration staff throughout the office.

The Operations Admin Office Manager duties will be:

  • Ensure the overall effective running of the office staff through proactive management
  • Be instrumental in the strategy to optimise operational/administration and commercial performance for sustainable growth
  • Supporting and leading a team of dedicated Operations and Administration staff
  • Working closely with the Senior Management Team to develop a solid understanding of the business strategy to ensure for support to the business and employees moving forward
  • Work closely with the Finance team when assessing budgets, pricing and P&L activities
  • Design and implement processes and policies to drive efficiencies through lean management techniques

Experience

  • Previous experienced of a leadership and operational/administration/business support staff management in industrial recycling or a similar type of heavy industry
  • Previous experience of design and implement key operational policies and procedures
  • Ability to work on their own initiative whilst being part of a team
  • Previous staff management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong IT skills, with a good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Have high attention to detail
