People Coordinator/Analyst

We are currently recruiting for a People Coordinator/ Analyst to join our expanding team. The role will be based in our London office. This is a truly generalist role where the incumbent will have the opportunity to get involved with all touchpoints of the employee life cycle.

We are a top 15 accountancy firm specialising within the owner managed business area across the UK. A well-established firm since the 1930's with an entrepreneurial and dynamic feel who are continuing to grow nationally as well as regionally.

The People Coordinator's role is offering a competitive salary and great benefits package.

The People Coordinator's duties will be:

  • Produce, analyse and submit reports on payroll, timesheet activity and basic people analytics
  • Respond to internal and external people related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Act as subject matter expert in HR systems
  • Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars
  • Scheduling People related activities and maintaining People Team calendar
  • Ownership of new start process, updating records with new hires
  • Assist in ad-hoc People team projects, like collection of employee feedback
  • Formulate methods to improve employment policies. Processes and practices as well as recommending changes and operational improvement
  • Supporting Regional People Manager with low level ER issues

Experience

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong analytical mind-set and comfort working with numbers
  • Exposure to employment relations issues
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong IT skills, with a good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Have high attention to detail
