What is the role?

As a Personal Tax Advisory Senior working within our Farnborough/Slough office, you will work closely with the Tax Partners and support them with tax planning, advisory work and implementing tax projects. The role will also involve dealing with ad-hoc tax queries from other departments and dealing with some tax compliance in specialist areas, as well as carrying out the following duties;

• Responsible for tax planning and advisory work
• Identifying opportunities and working with the clients
• Dealing with ad-hoc queries from tax team and other departments
• Assisting with the implementation of projects
• Assisting with ad-hoc advisory work
• Following established procedures for workflows and updating these when necessary
• Dealing with tax enquiries
• Conducting technical research

What you will need to be;

• Be authentic in every situation and like to be connected to your team, clients and local communities

• Be driven to succeed, take initiative and want results

As well as the above you ideally will be ATT and/or AAT qualified or nearly qualified with tax experience, have experience working in a small or mid-tier accountancy practice, managing tax advisory processes and line management, as well as a broad and general tax knowledge of all aspects of direct taxes.
