Property Management Accountant

The responsibilities and duties of the Property Management Accountant role will include;
- Maintaining lease records on the property management software
- Issuing rent demands, rent VAT invoices and recording rent receipts
- Issuing credit notes and undertaking credit control duties
- Paying and recording expenditure invoices
- Checking bank accounts on a daily basis and updating the cashbook
- Conducting monthly payroll duties
- Rental income distributions
- Processing non-resident landlord forms and tax payments to HMRC
- Reporting of Directors interest and tax payments to HMRC
- Generating portfolio reports
- Completing VAT returns
- Calculating and settling Retainer fees
- Preparing Tax Packs and Year End Accounts
- Liaising with external accountants for non-audited companies
- Preparing Audit file and liaise with Auditors during audit processes
- Ensuring Company Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns are filed with HMRC in line with deadlines
- Processing Corporation Tax payments to HMRC
- Distributing P60s to Directors and paying dividends
- Renewing subscription to Information Commissioners Offices
