Due to continued growth we are looking for a full time qualified accountant with at least 2 years practice experience in managing a portfolio of clients. The position is offered at a competitive salary with a wide range of company benefits and good career progression opportunities.

This role will suit someone who is looking to develop and grow their career and who has experience in working with a wide range of clients as a dedicated account manager and main point of contact.

The role involves all aspects of accountancy and practice experience with accounts for SME's and good commercial awareness is essential. Knowledge of the IRIS Accountancy Suite, Xero and Sage is a distinct advantage.

Candidates must have:

* Good clear communication skills both written and oral
* Be able to communicate on all levels
* A Positive and enthusiastic attitude
* Ability to work as part of a team or under your own initiative.
* Be happy to travel for work based assignments and to other offices in the region on a regular basis.
* Be able to build and develop client relationships

The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling, on an annual basis, the professional work required on a range of accounts jobs meeting all internal, client based and legislative deadlines.

The role encompasses the responsibility for ensuring that the firm's standard processes are used in the production of accounts work in all aspects and for ensuring that technical standards are maintained being able to answer technical questions.

The role will include:

* Preparation of accounts and draft tax computations
* Provide practical advice and solutions to clients and colleagues to problems in a timely manner.
* Managing deadlines for clients
* Dealing with client queries
* Ad-hoc tasks and assignments

Salary dependent on experience and training requirements.

* Salary of 30-40k per annum dependent upon experience
* Pension contributions at 3% of salary
* 20 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays
