Regional Marketing Manager - West Midlands

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Marketing Manager to act as an integral lead for our network of offices in the West Midlands. This is a brand new position, overseeing the marketing functions of 8 offices within the region.

We are a top 15 accountancy firm specialising within the owner managed business area across the UK. A well-established firm since the 1930's with an entrepreneurial and dynamic feel who are continuing to grow nationally as well as regionally.

The Regional Marketing Manager's duties will be:

  • To work with the reginal partners to craft and deliver a regional marketing strategy, aligned with the firm's national objectives, so as to raise the profile of the brand within the region and increase the organic sales pipeline.
  • To work with regional partners and national marketing representatives to design and implement long term marketing campaigns, rolling these out to local offices.
  • To ensure that best value is generated from the regions marketing spend.
  • To take ownership of delivering the regional marketing strategy, policy and, plans.
  • To ensure that the regions objectives and targets are met.
  • To take ownership of the Haines Watts brand within the region and ensure that all outward facing material and campaigns along to the brands image, values and culture are consistent against national (and local) brand strategy.
  • To develop a suite of KPI's and insights to report progress to the regional partners.
  • To improve the (prospect) data within the business via a consistent approach to CRM.
  • Work with the partners to procedures to improve client cross selling and reduce missed opportunities.
  • To lead the regional marketing function, working with office based marketing functions, partners and third party suppliers.
  • To lead the relationship with national resource, delivering national strategy into the region.
  • To represent the region on the national marketing committee.
  • To ensure monitoring of investments and return, continually driving improvements in ROI and best practice generation and sharing across the team and the wider business.
  • To communicate marketing policies, plans, guidelines, objectives, targets and performance effectively to all Haines Watts' internal stakeholders both in Group Services, the board and the regions in order to secure investment and commitment to the vision, strategy and marketing plans.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • An experienced marketing generalist.
  • Inspirational and team orientated.
  • Goal driven with the ability to communicate at all levels across the business.
  • Some who can demonstrate successful, strong and analytical skills
  • A strong understanding of the professional services, preferably the financial services, market
  • Someone with excellent communications skills, flair, creativity, and innovation
  • Commercial acumen and an understanding of the real drivers of growth. Evidence of a sound grasp of the financial aspects of marketing along with the ability to demonstrate return on investment on marketing initiatives.
  • A track record in building, developing, upskilling and engaging teams and mentoring the right skills to deliver the overall business objectives, promoting a best in class marketing function, articulating the vison, building consensus and inspiring the team to succeed.
  • CIM qualification and relevant marketing degree or equivalent is required.

  • High attention to detail, combined with the ability to see a broad picture.
  • A team player, collaborative in style, dynamic and enthusiastic and happy to 'roll up their sleeves' where appropriate. A passion for excellence, innovation and delivery.
  • Someone with high levels of energy, stamina and drive. A hands-on, decisive operator who can take ownership and effect change.
