We are recruiting for a Tax Trainee to work within our Hereford office, reporting directly to the Senior Managers.

This position would suit university leavers or college leavers who are looking to start their careers within the accountancy field. The position will be to work with our clients and provide support with Tax. No previous experience is necessary and we welcome applications from school leavers and graduates to join our firm to kick start their career with us

The Tax Trainee duties will be:

  • Preparation of Tax returns
  • Drafting reports for Research & Development claims
  • Processing of P11D's and basic Tax returns
  • Responding to client queries
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Filing of Tax returns

Academic Requirements

  • 2.1 or above in any degree discipline (attained)/strong passes in 3 A Levels
  • GCSE Grade B [Level 6] or above in English Language and Maths

The Trainee will have the below skills:

  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage workload
  • Excellent IT skills including good use of Excel
  • Skills in Microsoft Excel and Word necessary
