We have a vacancy for a bookkeeper and accounts assistant at our High Wycombe practice.

This role will see you working in a dynamic and progressive practice, with a friendly and supportive work environment in mostly a bookkeeping capacity. Depending on your skills and ambition, there will also be the option to get involved in assisting with preparing year end accounts.

You will look after the bookkeeping, prepare and file of VAT returns, prepare management accounts and provide ad-hoc support for a varied portfolio of interesting and growing clients. You will be the first point of call for all the clients when it comes to their bookkeeping matters and so you should be someone that is a self-starter and can work using your own initiative. This role will be suited for someone that has skills in cloud based bookkeeping packages such as Xero & QuickBooks. Knowledge of Sage will also be advantageous. You will be able to assist clients' transition over to cloud accounting software, if required to do so and provide advice on making the move. Ideally, this is a full-time role but we would be happy to consider part time or flexible working for the right candidate.
