Job Description

We are looking for an individual with at least three years accounts preparation experience and an excellent working knowledge of Xero to support our growing Cloud Services department.

Working alongside our Cloud Accounting Manager, this newly created role offers the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills which will help shape your future career.

The Ideal candidate will need to be::

Technologically literate - You will have the ability to understand and apply computerised packages to client requirements. Knowledge of accountancy and cloud-based systems is a requirement as well as a proactive approach to deliverables.

Personable - You will be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the positive benefits technology brings to businesses; passionate about your systems knowledge and be able to share and communicate this with others articulately.

Proactive and willing to learn new skills - No two deliverables are the same. You will need to be proactive and adaptable when working with clients and have the drive to learn new skills and systems within this rapidly growing sector.

Great at communicating - This is not just a "back office" position. Whether you are at meetings with our business owner clients, discussing options with your colleagues in the office or liaising with software suppliers, your communication skills need to be adaptable and appropriate.

This is an opportunity to really progress in this field and help grow the team as an increasing number of our clients, across the West Midlands, realise the advantages of operating integrated cloud systems and apps.

Xero and accounting experience essential.

Hours of work are 9am - 5.30pm with an hour for lunch.

Salary will depend entirely on experience but will be competitive.
