Company Secretarial Administrator (Part Time)

About the role:

The Company Secretarial Administrator will provide support to the development and functioning of the Company Secretarial service line and all of its day to day operations with a view to taking charge of all compliance matters in due course. The successful candidate will receive on the job training and could have the opportunity to study towards chartered status.

Please note that this role is offered on a part time basis, initially, with the potential of increased hours in the future. Salary advertised is FTE.

Responsibilities:

- The provision of quality company secretarial services to an existing and growing portfolio of clients to ensure that they are aware of, and are discharging their statutory obligations effectively

- Take ownership of all regulatory matters including the filing of annual confirmation statements and other compliance filings including changes to directorate, changes to the particulars of the directors and changes in accounting reference dates when required

- Report to the Company Secretarial Senior on all areas of regulatory compliance including the maintenance of statutory records and compliance filings

- Support multiple advisory projects whilst working to deadlines including company incorporations where required

- Take ownership of departmental fees including invoicing for regulatory and advisory matters and generally overseeing the departmental budget

- Assist with the provision of company secretarial services to our service charge clients and property residential management companies

- Keep abreast of any regulatory updates that may affect our client base and provide support in drafting communications to inform clients of the new requirements

About you:

- Exceptional attention to detail

- Ability to prioritise and manage their own workload with minimal supervision

- An interest in Company Law and Company Secretarial Practice

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent IT skills including good use of Microsoft software

- Ability to learn new systems and software quickly
