HW Human Resources is a division of Haines Watts based in the middle of the UK. We offer retained and pay-as-you-go or consultancy HR support across multiple sectors, predominately in the UK. This HR Advisor role is to be internally facing for the Haines Watts South East Midlands region.

About the role:

The HR Advisor will work with the Head of / Director of HR in managing the regions employee relations matters and projects. You will ensure the delivery of accurate, well-presented documentation and presentations that ensure our culture, brand and reputation is continually protected and improved.

As part of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of initiatives, including events, campaigns and social media. You will also commit to channel efforts that will meet the strategic aspirations of Haines Watts, which means seeking knowledge to understand the services we offer.

Key responsibilities will be to ensure that HR solutions are in place for any given HR challenge. Advice will be via telephone or in person across the region. Challenges, issues or ideas may be performance management, capability, sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, or contractually related.

About you:

- Good knowledge of UK Employment Law and the at least 2 years experience of practical application

- Experience managing HR issues including the identification of root cause and the delivery of practical solutions

- Excellent relationship and communication skills

- Understanding of a service-led environment that supports multiple sectors and culture

- CIPD qualified or QBE; qualified by experience, to HR Assistant level.

- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. IRIS is advantageous

- Technology focused and able to adapt to multiple or new systems

- Able to travel according to the needs of the business
