Due to growth we are recruiting for a receptionist to work within our Central London office by assisting the administration team in all areas including reception, client service and document organisation. This is an entry-level receptionist role working within the admin team of a fast-pace accounting firm. This role would suit someone who is looking to start their career within reception with either little or no experience.

We are a top 15 accountancy firm specialising within the owner managed business area across the UK. A well-established firm since the 1930's with an entrepreneurial and dynamic feel who are continuing to grow nationally as well as regionally.

The Receptionist duties will be:

  • Covering reception and being the first point of contract for all clients and visitors
  • Answering the phone and transfer/take calls
  • All administration tasks, including letters, photocopying, scanning, manual updates, document binding, other daily filing and paperwork
  • Covering other admin tasks when team members are unavailable
  • Providing refreshments for visitors and internal meetings
  • Organising lunches for meetings or events
  • Maintenance of the meeting rooms
  • Receiving deliveries and distribute to staff
  • Booking couriers and taxis
  • Ensuring tea/coffee/soft drinks are fully stocked
  • Checking stocks and ordering stationery supplies for the office
  • Delivering reliable administrative support
  • Ensuring reception area is tidy and presentable at all times

The Receptionist will have the below skills:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in talking to people at all levels of seniority
  • Good listening skills
  • Strong IT skills, particularly MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail

Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a customer-facing role
