We are currently recruiting for a talented and ambitious Talent and Development Advisor to join our expanding team within the Central London office. This is a truly generalist role where the incumbent will have the opportunity to get involved with all touchpoints of the employee life cycle. This is an autonomous role, allowing the successful candidate the freedom to really take the reign and make an impactful contribution.

As the largest and fastest growing region of Haines Watts we are looking for highly skilled entrepreneurial individuals to join to the team to assist us in achieving our strategic goal of being the number one advisor to owner managed businesses.

We are a top 15 accountancy firm specialising within the owner managed business area across the UK. A well-established firm since the 1930's with an entrepreneurial and dynamic feel who are continuing to grow nationally as well as regionally.

The Talent and Development Advisor role is offering a competitive salary and great benefits package.

The Talent and Development Advisor's duties will be:

  • Working closely with Head of Human Resources to provide oversight and management of the Firm's performance and talent management processes.
  • Executing a pragmatic and impactful communication framework
  • Driving communication and engagement initiatives across numerous offices
  • Driving process improvement projects and streamlining activities
  • Providing generalist support on a range of HR and employment issues
  • Delivering on-going performance management reviews and coaching internal clients
  • Adapting and cascading Group initiatives
  • Proving mentoring and coaching to team


  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong analytical mind-set and comfort working with numbers
  • Exposure to complex employment relations issues
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong IT skills, with a good working knowledge of MS Office
