Talent Consultant / Recruitment Consultant

Position: Talent Consultant - New Business Development

Location: Brackmills, Northampton

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum + bonus + performance related pay

HW Talent & Resourcing is a division of Haines Watts based in the midlands. We offer recruitment support on both advertising, consultancy and retained basis across multiple sectors, predominately in the UK.

HW Talent & Resourcing are part of the wider People Services team within Haines Watts, who can offer clients multiple services such as HR and Payroll. We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated recruiter to join them and focus on the expansion of our external client base.

Haines Watts work with owner managed businesses, providing expertise and resources in all areas of the recruitment lifecycle, at every stage of a company's evolution. It recruits in a modern, cost-effective and engaging way, creating recruitment infrastructures and providing complementary resources and outsourcing for our clients as and when they need it.

About the role:

  • Pro-actively and professionally generating new clients from new and existing relationships
  • Meeting clients face to face and promoting a portfolio of recruitment solutions
  • Building rapport and negotiating terms of business to secure new business
  • Maintaining client rapport to encourage repeat business

About you:

  • An experienced, successful recruiter who is looking for a new challenge
  • A genuine interest in business development and client acquisition
  • Be an expert in understanding the recruitment lifecycle along with the importance of a promoting a positive employer brand and candidate experience
  • Proven administration and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in recruitment (in-house/agency) or HR is highly regarded
  • Proactive approach with ability to think outside the box and use initiative
  • Strong verbal and written communication
