Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic tax junior to join our busy tax team.

Reporting directly to the Tax Manager, this position involves dealing with personal tax compliance for a portfolio of clients


  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of Tax Returns and computations
  • Advising clients on tax liabilities in a timely manner
  • Assisting in preparing P11Ds
  • Providing support on planning projects and researching technical issues on advisory work
  • Answering telephone calls and dealing with basic client queries
  • Communicating with HMRC
  • Maintaining internal controls
  • Admin and other ad hoc tasks as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Either an ATT qualified, ATT studier or someone keen to start their ATT studies, ideally with at least 12 months hands on personal tax experience gained in a practice environment.


  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Efficient and organised approach to work
  • Good IT skills and a working knowledge of Excel and tax software
  • Self-motivated and professional manner
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible approach and enthusiastic team player


  • Minimum one years' hands on experience in a practice environment
  • Experience of dealing confidently with clients
